t is an honor to begin my 15th year as the President of the Houston East
End Chamber of Commerce. I am proud to work alongside an incredible
team of board members, volunteers, community leaders, and staff to
drive progress by engaging, educating, and uniting the diverse leaders
of our region. For over three decades, the Houston East End Chamber has
been a cornerstone of our community, championing local businesses and
making connections that make a lasting impact.
Our Chamber stands as a bridge between the East End’s rich history
and its promising future, with our members leading the charge. Having
grown up and remained rooted in the East End, I hold a deep affection for
our community. It is a place that feels like a close-knit hometown within
the great city of Houston. One of the things I treasure most is the ability
to support local businesses—many of which have been fixtures of our
neighborhood for decades—while also celebrating the arrival of new
business that bring fresh energy and opportunity.
To our members, I extend my sincere thanks for your continued
partnership. Your engagement with the Chamber is invaluable, fuels the
Chamber’s success and strengthens the entire East End community. We
truly appreciate your unwavering support!
Our Chamber team is committed to helping businesses thrive by
offering a wide range of networking, advertising, educational, and
social opportunities over the course of the calendar year. Additionally,
we partner with other Chambers and organizations in the East End to
create even more opportunities for collaboration and growth. We always
welcome your ideas and feedback as we strive to enhance the ways we
serve both our members and the wider community.
Looking ahead to the year ahead, I am thrilled about executing our
Signature Programs and continuing our education and workforce
initiatives. The East End continues to grow with exciting developments
and new businesses, and we invite you to join the movement that’s
driving this growth! If you’re not yet a member, consider making 2025 the
year you join us. For our current members, I encourage you to deepen
your involvement and help us create meaningful change.
It is truly an honor to serve as your President and to carry forward the
mission of the Houston East End Chamber— connecting businesses and
promoting economic expansion and prosperity in the East End. Together,
we are building a foundation for a thriving and dynamic East End, and I
look forward to continuing this journey with all of you.
Please feel free to reach out to me anytime at frances@eecoc.org. I look
forward to seeing you at one of our many upcoming events and working
together to achieve even greater success in the year ahead.
Sincerely,

Chamber Staff
