This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Houston East End Chamber of Commerce—a milestone that reflects decades of advocacy, collaboration, and commitment to the businesses and people who make the East End thrive. As we mark the Chamber’s 35th anniversary, I am humbled to have played a role in this organization’s story for nearly half of its journey, and it is an honor to begin my 16th year serving as President.

For 35 years, the Houston East End Chamber has been a trusted advocate for local businesses, creating meaningful connections, championing opportunity, and strengthening the economic vitality of our community. I am continually inspired by the dedication of our board members, volunteers, community partners, and staff who work together to engage, educate, and unite the diverse leaders driving our region forward.

Our Chamber proudly stands at the intersection of the East End’s rich history and its exciting future, with our members leading the way. As someone who grew up in the East End and continues to call it home, this community holds a special place in my heart. It is a neighborhood defined by deep roots, cultural pride, and a strong sense of belonging—a true hometown within the City of Houston. I am especially proud that our Chamber supports long-standing, legacy businesses while also welcoming new enterprises that bring fresh ideas, innovation, and momentum to our district.

To our members, thank you. Your engagement, leadership, and partnership are the foundation of our success. Your involvement strengthens not only the Chamber, but the entire East End community. We are deeply grateful for your continued support and belief in our mission.

Throughout the year, the Chamber remains focused on helping businesses grow and thrive through impactful networking, strategic advertising opportunities, professional development, and engaging social events. We also collaborate closely with fellow Chambers and organizations throughout the East End to expand opportunities for connection and collective impact. Your ideas and feedback are always welcome as we continue to evolve and enhance how we serve you.

As we look ahead, I am excited to celebrate this milestone year through our Signature Programs while continuing to advance our education and workforce development initiatives. The East End continues to experience dynamic growth, new investment, and emerging opportunities—and we invite you to be part of the movement shaping its future. If you are not yet a member, I encourage you to make this the year you join us. For our current members, I invite you to deepen your involvement and help us create meaningful, lasting change.

It is truly an honor to serve as President and to advance the mission of the Houston East End Chamber of Commerce: Connecting businesses and promoting economic expansion and investment in the East End. Together, we are building on 35 years of impact while laying the foundation for a strong, vibrant, and resilient future.

Please feel free to reach out anytime at frances@eecoc.org. I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and continuing this important work together.

Sincerely,

France's Signature
