Linda Lorelle

A two-time Emmy Award-winning journalist and two-time winner of the American Women
in Radio and Television’s prestigious Gracie Award, Linda Lorelle anchored the evening
news at KPRC, Houston’s NBC affiliate, for nearly 17 years. Since opening her media
firm in 2009, the Stanford (B.A) and Mizzou journalism graduate (M.A) has garnered an
extensive roster of Fortune 500 clients, NGOs and educational institutions, and hosts
the award-winning podcast, Our Voices Matter, dedicated to reminding us of our
common humanity. In February 2024, she launched Civil Dialogues in partnership with
Jean Becker, former chief of staff to President George H.W. Bush. The democracy
project partners with presidential library foundations and the Kinder Institute on
Constitutional Democracy to host town halls across the nation, providing a safe space
for Americans to learn about and discuss difficult topics affecting the country, without
being demonized. As co-founders of the Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund, Linda and her
husband, Lou Gregory, have awarded more than $4.7 million in college scholarships
and life skills training to nearly 400 Houston area students over the last 34 years. In
September of 2023, former Lorelle Scholars, joined by Linda and Lou’s daughter,
Lindsey, assumed leadership of the organization and are ushering in a new era.

Julia Morales

Julia Morales is kicking off her 14th season as a broadcaster for the Houston Astros and is a five-time Emmy Award winner. She made history in 2024 when she called play-by-play for the Astros alongside Jenny Cavnar, the Athletics’ announcer. The two were the first women to call play-by-play for the same game.

While living in Houston with her husband Matt and daughter Valerie, Julia has made an impact on Astros fans, women in sports and future sportscasters. She received Texas Executive Women - Women on the Move award and was named a Woman of Inspiration by the Houston chapter of WISE, Women in Sports and Events.

In the midst of broadcasting, she launched 'Shop Baseball, Y'all,' making her mark in both the sports and fashion worlds. Starting with styles for baseball fans, she now offers perfect pieces for football, softball and pickleball fans.

In 2025, Julia added “author” to her resume with the release of her children’s book Her Day at the Park, a story that celebrates women in sports and inspires the next generation of fans and dreamers.

When it comes to giving back to the community, Julia served on the Board of Directors for Houston Pets Alive!, a no-kill animal rescue, fostering several dogs over the years.
