In partnership with University of Houston’s Hobby School of Public Affairs and the East End Management District, our 2019 East End Vision Luncheon will feature findings from our first, East End Houston Economic Survey to measure the way our East End area is changing and growth insights for our area which includes the new Gulf Coast Distillers Tasting Room and the East River development project spanning 150 acres formerly owned by Houston-based KBR which is bordered by little over a mile of the Buffalo Bayou.
East End Economic Survey
Hear key finding of the East End Houston Economic Survey prepared by the Hobby School of Public Affairs at the University of Houston. The findings will be updated bi-annually. Our expectation is that this new survey will be instrumental for organizations looking to do business with or in the East End.
East River Project Update
Hear from David Hightower, Executive Vice President of Development at Midway, a longtime force in Houston’s commercial real estate industry, who is leading the East River project, where culture and commerce will thrive, creating an active district along more than a mile of East End waterfront, channeling Houston’s rich history to inspire a bold vision for its future.
Gulf Coast Distillers Update
Meet and hear from Carlos deAldecoa Bueno, President of both, Cadeco Industries, the leading service provider of raw coffee process and Gulf Coast Distillers, the producers of vodka, gin, rum, bourbon and whiskey, both in Houston’s Historic East End.
