In less than 10 days, we are hosting the first ever-Experiential Leadership Communication Summit at 7007 Bertner, Houston, Texas 77030. The time is 8 am to 5 pm. Karen Blake Keynote – DREAMS Past International Director, Distinguished Toastmaster, Karen Blake is going to regale us with her journey and share her vision to help each of us achieve our own dreams. Triple Crown and DTM Ceremony Moderated by four-time Distinguished Toastmaster, Doris Brooks. We have several Triple Crown winners and around thirty Distinguished Toastmasters (some who are also Triple Crown Winners who will be celebrated in a one-hour event with all the excitement these achievements deserve. Ask the Winners – Panel Discussion We will also have a panel discussion moderated by Past International Director, Distinguished Toastmaster, Pamela McCown. Three of our hometown Speakers, 2018 World Champion, Ramona Smith, 2014 Third Place World Champion, Kelly Sargent, and top ten contestant Yolanda Bynum. Each of these World Class Speakers made it to the world stage and will share their personal experiences with you! Educational Sessions There are seventeen educational sessions where you are invited to participate and learn through experiential training technics what it takes to be a leader and speak with a leader’s voice. Toastmasters Beyond the Club Leadership Panel There is another panel discussion Moderated by Past International Director, Distinguished Toastmaster, Karen Blake. This panel includes Past International Director, Distinguished Toastmaster, Pamela McCown - District Director, Distinguished Toastmaster, Sheryle H. Warren - Program Quality Director, Distinguished Toastmaster, Kathryn R. Kest and Club Growth Director, Distinguished Toastmaster, Rose Williams. Refreshments To start the day, there will be breakfast snacks such as hard-boiled eggs, pastries, cheese, fruit, juice, coffee, and water for your enjoyment. We will offer Arby’s box lunches during the lunch break and snacks in the middle of the afternoon along with fresh coffee and sodas.
