Houston Business Development Inc.
Houston City Council approved an agreement that will allow Houston Business Development Inc.(HBDi) to operate as a Community Based Development Organization (CBDO). Prior to the approval,HBDi operated as an instrumentality of the City of Houston with a lending footprint limited to the Houston’s city limits. The CBDO certification allows HBDi to operate autonomously, and make loans to small businesses in and outside of Houston with few local restrictions
