The Houston East End Chamber of Commerce is working hard to further economic development in the East End and we invite you to join us!  Membership in the Chamber offers outstanding business building opportunities at our regular monthly events and promotion in our publications and on our website.    We are serious about working together to support our members’ businesses!

 

            Our Program of Work aggressively addresses the implementation of the strategic vision, completed in 2006 by soliciting community input to produce a blueprint for the creation and management of future development.  (View the entire Vision by clicking on the link on the homepage under “Life in the East End.”)  Education and Economic Development are priorities of the vision and the chamber is leading innovative programs in both fields.  The National Engineering Academy at Chavez High School and the Port of Houston Maritime Academy at Austin High School are driven by the initiative to provide qualified workforce for our members.  Our Economic Development Division proactively partners with commercial realtors, funders, government, and property owners to assist with business attraction and expansion.  We are the number one advocate for business in the East End and we would love to work for YOU!
