Mission:  To teach and motivate education professionals, business and the community about the importance of public-private partnerships in order to create an effective workforce.

In 2013 we started a great dialogue at our first Education Symposium to help create a bridge between industry and education in order to create a workforce that meets the needs of industry. Speakers and panels included educators such as President Dr. Renu Khator of the University of Houston and industry professionals such as Director of Corporate Communications Sara Cronin of TPC Group. For more details of 2013 click here.

The great work continued in 2014! We discussed partnership models that are effective, we took a look at the current changes in schools and discussed how industry can provide effective feedback. THANK YOU to everyone who joined us in creating an effective workforce including our Partners J.P. Morgan Chase and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas-Houston Branch. The work has not ended. Keep the conversation going and keep the Chamber up to date. Photos of the event
